hi, these are the original dimensions for the standard 535 (NOT THE SUNTRIP) the frame is made of two pices of 19mm /3/4" alloy the width of both sections were it fits on the sides of the boat is 60"wide one frame section is taller than the other the large one is 35"tall thats from the bottom of the tube were it fits on the boat to the very top ie the straight section were the canopy roof will fit, the other section is also 60"wide at the base but it is not as tall as the other as its 32 & 3/4"tall from base to top, both sections have a 9"radius on the bends at the top of the frames, these are the correct dimensions if you are going to use a proper shetland 535 canopy as they are made to fit a 9"radius at the roof edges of the canopy, you can get a proper shetland 535 canopy from marilyn bevvers ( this is her number 07930 689020 ) they are very fair with the price and the covers are first class, you will need fittings to put the frame together you can get all of these from j clarke marine in comber co down northern ireland ( tel 07709491684 ) they are on the web they post free of charge good prices and good fittings, if you type in your browser shetland 535 on images you can see pictures of boats that have covers, you can see the frame on a few of them that will show you how the two sections fit together, if you need any more info re how to shape the frame give me a ring on 01274 876701 regards, stephen.

hello again glynn, just thought i would mention if you are not going to buy a proper shetland 535 canopy ie you are having one made to your own spec then you dont need to have a frame with a 9" radius on the bends you could just buy some (90 degree elbows) and use straight tubing instead of trying to find some wear to get the tube bent to a 9"radius, regards, stephen.
